Don’t let your stress spread cancer- my cancer doctor said

cancer doctor in Kolkata

Stress and health:

After I got to know that I had breast cancer, I was shattered. The cancer doctor in Kolkata who was treating me told me about the consequences of stress, yet I was not in a condition to be stress-free. He told me that my situation could be worse due to my high-stress level. “Researchers show that stress can affect the human body and especially those who are diagnosed with chronic diseases”, he added. He advised some simple activities to reduce my stress.

Activities are as follows:

Laugh:

Laughter is more like an exercise. It can release endorphins. He suggested me to meet friends who can make me laugh. I never had the idea that those silly videos that I watched at times would act as a type of treatment as those make me laugh.

Exercise:

A little bit of exercise is okay. The oncologist based in Kolkata prescribed me some very easy exercises which would help me release the ‘feel good" hormones.

Hobby:

I was told to take out some time and do things that I love. I love to listen to music and also gardening gives me immense peace. I started spending time with my plants. I could feel less stressed while spending time with them

Physical affection:

My doctor told me that physical affection would make me feel safe, loved, and wanted. This gave emotional benefits and the physiological change helped me reduce stress.

My pet:

Can you believe it? My pet dog Raja helped me release my stress and thus, it helped me fight my battle against breast cancer. My doctor had advised me to spend time with my dog which would help me be stress-free and forget about my disease for the time being.

The doctor used the latest medications and technologies to treat me. Along with that his advice on minimizing my stress helped me to win this battle against the deadly disease.
